Great fibre blend for a gentle colon cleanse
What are the benefits?
Fiber has long been recognized as one of the best food ingredients for maintaining regularity and preventing constipation. Consuming fiber reduces transit time and results in a more thorough evacuation of waste materials.
Because fiber causes starches and sugars to be absorbed more slowly into the bloodstream, the amount of glucose in the blood is reduced and so is the work required of the pancreas in producing insulin.
Water-soluble fiber may lower cholesterol because it prevents the reabsorption of bile acids. Bile acids are made out of cholesterol, and after they aid fat digestion, fiber binds with them and escorts them out of the body. The liver then has to pull more cholesterol from the blood to produce more. However, not all water-soluble fiber does this. The fiber found in oat bran, legumes, and psyllium does. Studies reported by the Kellogg Company indicate that a daily intake of 10 grams of psyllium may lower cholesterol by as much as 15%
Because fiber is low in calories, it can be added to your diet, providing a greater feeling of satiety without significantly increasing your caloric intake. In other words, you may find yourself eating less. This is beneficial in weight-loss programs.
Two tablespoons (18 g) of AIM Herbal Fiberblend® contains 12 - 13 grams of fiber - most nutritionists recommend 21 - 35 grams of fiber a day.
Psyllium, which is the main fiber source in AIM Herbal Fiberblend® has over eight times the bulking power of oat brain. Psyllium is approximately 75% to 80% dietary fiber, and this breaks down to 65% soluble fiber and 10% to 15% insoluble fiber.
The herbs in AIM Herbal Fiberblend® bring you a wealth of nutrients. Fourteen herbs contain iron, 14 contain B-complex vitamins, 13 contain calcium, 13 contain vitamin C, 13 contain potassium. Combined, these herbs make Herbal Fiberblend one of the most valuable fiber products available today.
AIM Herbal Fiberblend® is a professional formulation of herbs in a convenient, easy-to-use powder. No grinding and mixing herbs yourself!

Testimonial
Chronic Constipation
"I am a 35 year old lady who has recently been diagnosed with a
"Twisted Colon" by Dr Wegman of Sydney Gastro-intestinal Diseases.
Ever since I was a child I have suffered chronic constipation, often going up to
seven days between eliminations; laxatives became an essential part of my life.
I suffered from chronic lethargy, poor concentration, haemorrhoids, and became
very overweight, all the time knowing something was very wrong but not knowing
what.
A kind friend introduced me to a vegetarian diet which was initially a
tremendous help, however, as the years passed I found I needed more and more
fruit to stay regular and became frustrated that with eating a virtually 75% raw
diet. I still experienced pain, gas and constipation. Back to laxatives I went.
About a month ago I discovered HERBAL DIETARY FIBRE, which has made an
incredible difference to my whole life. I now visit the toilet at least twice a
day, I can eat foods other than just fruit and raw vegetables, (although this is
still the best 75%) without dread of pain, and do not have the bloated feeling
all the time. Such is the difference in me, I am a more happy, vibrant person
and I enjoy life a whole lot more than before.
