NLP within therapy is the practice of identifying programs that no longer serve you in a positive way, you then rewrite the program to create the outcome you wish, and then install them in yourself.

Example:  Instead of the program "walk past the cake shop, stop, buy cake, eat it at home, feel good, think I shouldn't have eaten the cake, feel bad" .You might install "walk past cake shop..... stop....... feel good about having a choice......, choose to not buy the cake!, feel really good as you walk past." And have this happen AUTOMATICALLY!

You identify the programs that no longer work well for you, design a replacement with a better outcome and then simply install it.

Born from from the phenomenal Fritz Perls and the innovative Virginia Satir - the astounding Milton Erickson and many others. What came out of these studies was in my opinion, a set of tools from which change can occur more quickly and easily than ever thought possible.
